Elegant table lamp from the Italian manufacturer Artemide, designed by Carlo Forcolini in the late 1980s. The fixtures in the Nestore series impress with their elegance and postmodern design language. The curved, finely crafted light arm literally balances on the tube of the base. At the end of the light arm, a counterweight is suspended in the form of a ball. The pivot point, weight, and light head are coordinated so that the low light can be directed into a wide variety of positions. The plate-shaped base is fixed, creating a shadow joint that gives the base a floating appearance. A particular detail is the transition from the stem to the plate base. The switch is located on the base and has two levels of light intensity.
