Arc Floor Lamp Mid-Century Space Age by Gepo, 1960s

Imposing Space Age floor lamp from the Dutch manufacturer Gepo. A classic design from the Space Age era with a movable lampshade. The large translucent plastic lampshade rests in a ring-shaped holder and can rotate around its axis. This allows the opening of the lampshade to be manually aligned, changing the direction and effect of the light. The lampshade is connected to the end of the arc stem by a transparent acrylic element. The stem of the floor lamp consists of two parts. The lower part is straight and ends with a white plate base. The upper part describes a wide arc and is adjustable in height on the lower stem. A knurled screw is used to secure the height. The cable is routed inside the stem and exits above the base. The floor lamp is in very good condition with signs of use. The lampshade shows slight deformations.
