Minimalist floor lamp designed by Hoogervorst in the 1960s for the Dutch design house Anvia. This lamp was sold under the name Elbow, in reference to the pivoting arm to which the lampshade is attached. A beautiful example of iconic Dutch design that easily fits into a mid-century or modern interior. The lamp is made of white lacquered metal with details in aluminium and plastic. Starting from a heavy organic-shaped metal base, a slender tube rises upwards. At about one metre in height, it splits into an elegant curved arm that is pivoting, allowing for easy orientation of the light beam. The original switch is located on the lampshade. The lamp is in good condition, with slight signs of use corresponding to its age. The tube has a scratch near the base, which has been repainted once, cleaned, polished, and technically checked.
