Beautiful and authentic Lyonnaise commode from the Louis XV period, made of solid walnut, dating from the 18th century. This high-quality regional model is distinguished by its curved front with three rows of drawers, richly adorned with deep carvings featuring shells, scrolls, and foliage, typical of Lyonnaise craftsmanship. The drawers are enhanced with superb original bronze fittings, decorated with medallions and garlands, offering an elegant contrast to the warm patina of the walnut (missing the rings). The central crossbar features a stylised heart-shaped carved motif, a decorative signature frequently found in 18th-century Lyonnaise productions.
