Here is the portrait of an elegant young woman, finely executed pastel, signed and dated 1888 at the bottom right. Nicely presented under glass in its wooden and gilded stucco frame. Adorned with a wrapped ribbon, a fine frieze of acanthus leaves, and a frieze of piastres on the outer edges. (The first photo shows light reflections on the left shoulder, opposite the red line.) Condition: the whole is in good condition, the original gilded frame has some losses on the outer frieze at the back, as shown in the photos. Dimensions: Weight: 8 kg.
