Superb Plia chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for the publisher Anonima Castelli in 1967. A true symbol of industrial design exhibited at MoMA in New York, this model stands out for its chrome steel structure and finishes in beech wood and natural caning. This version is particularly elegant and warmer than the transparent plastic models: • Structure: Chrome steel in very good condition, with a nice shine. The patented hinge mechanism works perfectly (smooth folding). • Seat and backrest: Solid beech wood frame with excellent condition Viennese caning, well tensioned and without major snags. A small spot of missing chrome on the backrest. • Details: Presence of the original black protective pads at the base. Dimensions. • Height: 75 cm. • Width: 47 cm. • Depth: 45 cm (seat) • Folded: only 5 cm thick!.
