Large pendants from the early last century from the Louvre by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, 1962.

This monumental pendant light, originally designed by Poul Henningsen in 1957 for the Adventist Church of Skodsborg in Denmark, was created at the request of architect Charles Gjerrild. Its design aimed at both economy and aesthetics. These pendants have been recently re-wired and come with a new fabric-covered cable and an original Louis Poulsen rose. This funnel-shaped rose is a significant design element, often absent from older models. The light fixture is suspended by its original reinforced Louis Poulsen cable. Henningsen's geometric and spherical design ensures uniform lighting across all surfaces, illuminating walls and ceilings evenly. The matte finish of the lower surfaces and the gloss of the upper surfaces create an attractive light reflection and uniform distribution.
