Iconic vintage large P. Henningsen PH6 1/2 - 6 Charlottenborg chandelier

Iconic vintage large Poul Henningsen PH6 1/2-6 Charlottenborg chandelier for Louis Poulsen. Impressive in size with a diameter of 65 cm. Originally designed in the 1940s by Poul Henningsen and redesigned by Ebbe Christensen & Sophus Frandsen from drawings by Poul Henningsen in 1979. This is an early model from that period. In original condition and rewired with new gold cloth twisted flex. Adjustable height. E39 bulb holder with adapter to E27 if so desrired. Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a Danish author, critic, architect, and designer, known for his PH-lamp series. His light fixtures were manufactured by Louis Poulsen.
