Earthenware dish made in the workshops of the Keller and Guérin brothers (KG) in Lunéville at the end of the 1920s. Design created by the French artist Geo (short for Georges) Condé (1891-1980), decorator and modeller for the Lunéville pottery from 1923 to 1937. The dish is titled "Fruit Bearer Joséphine Baker". It depicts the music hall artist Joséphine Baker (1906-1975) dancing while carrying a basket of fruit. She achieved immediate success upon arriving in France in 1925 thanks to her performances. In very good condition, with a small chip on one of the handles (see photos). Signed on the back K and G Lunéville France. Rare piece. Dimensions: height 2 cm, 26.5 cm X 25.5 cm. Weight without packaging 590 g.
