Pair of vintage leather Chesterfield accent chairs

We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful pair of oversized vintage Gainsborough Chesterfield accent chairs in Oxblood leather. A very aesthetically pleasing and skillfully designed pair, they can be used in any room for various functions, including office use or for casual dining. They were originally placed on either side of a beautiful Georgian desk. In terms of condition, they have been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom. They show some light patina marks due to age and use, as one would expect, and one back button is a bit loose as seen in the photos. Dimensions: Height: 108.5 cm, Width: 62 cm, Depth: 64 cm, Seat Height: 49.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note that vintage period items like leather seating always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual waxing to prevent moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods as this may dry it out and cause discolouration.
