Daybed Model Cleopatra, designer D. Cormeyer. 1953. Manufacturer Auping. Teak, metal, leather. All original elements. Latex mattress, thickness 11cm. Full-grain leather. Upholstery: leather buttons on the top, cotton on the bottom. Leather piping. Removable with a zipper. In my home since 2015, well cared for. Comes from a Belgian hotel. As shown in the advertising photo from the 50s, Cleopatra was designed WITHOUT a headrest cushion. The bolster appears in current contemporary refurbishments (upholstery, coverings).
