Torcello Series Display Cabinet Set by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Stildomus, Italy, 1980s, Set of 2

Postmodern Italian design display cabinet set from the TORCELLO series, created by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Stildomus, Italy, 1980s. The cabinets are marked with a stamp inside one of the doors. This well-designed and constructed set features 4-door display units made from walnut wood with aluminium metal edge rails. Each cabinet has 2 bottom doors, 2 glass top doors, and an internal spot lamp for illuminating a displayed collection (lights may need refitting). The interiors include one shelf in the bottom section and one shelf in the top section. Beautifully finished on the front, sides, and back with full walnut wood panels. Each cabinet measures 165 cm high, 82 cm wide, and 44 cm deep. The set remains in good to very good condition with light wear and a patina consistent with age and use.
