Chesterfield Club Armchair in Hand-Dyed Leather

We offer for sale this fully restored Chesterfield reclining armchair, hand-dyed in deep brown cigar-coloured leather. The reclining mechanism is operated by two curved solid brass arms, providing multiple positions. The backrest is padded with fibres for added comfort, and the seat cushion is filled with feathers. This armchair comes from Germany, originally covered in blue fabric, and has been renovated with premium Italian leather hand-dyed six times, aged, sealed, waxed, and polished. It is a mid-century modern armchair, regarded as the best in its category. Dimensions: Height 98 cm, Width 72.5 cm (+1 cm cushion), Depth 88 cm (+3 cm cushion), Seat height 44 cm. Please note that vintage leather items exhibit a natural patina consistent with their age, including cracks, creases, and wear.
