Sapporo sofa by Mario Marenco for Mobilgirgi 1970s

The Sapporo sofa by Mobil Girgi, designed by Mario Marenco in the 1970s, is a splendid example of desirable and contemporary Italian design. Its very solid, heavy structure with curved sections is made of walnut wood, in a warm and vibrant shade. The cushions are in white leather, fully removable. The original condition is very good, but one could of course imagine reupholstering it to give it a new life and a new look.
