Antique decorative tray, 46 X 28 cm, 1960s, created using reverse glass painting with genuine mother-of-pearl inlays. The design depicts a large stylized black stag in a landscape of ochre and blue mountains, with golden trees in the background. The mother-of-pearl fragments, each individually cut, create iridescent areas that shift with the light. The blackened wooden frame shows normal signs of wear, and the reverse glass painting exhibits areas of loss that attest to its age. One observation stands out: "The landscape appears frozen, yet the mother-of-pearl continues to shine like an echo of movement." Technique: reverse glass painting + mother-of-pearl. Materials: glass, mother-of-pearl, antique wood. Condition: decoration incomplete in places, overall stable and decorative. €35. Keywords: antique tray, mother-of-pearl, reverse glass painting, 1960s, Asian design, stag, vintage, wall decoration, Asian art.
