Rare set of eight original dining chairs, designed by Niels O. Møller and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark: six chairs model 80 and two armchairs model 65. Both models date from the late 1960s and are among the few creations by Møller with fully upholstered backs. Together, they form a complete and cohesive dining set, combining Scandinavian elegance, exceptional comfort, and a clear, fluid line. Model 65 is considered one of Møller's most exclusive and complex creations. Its elegantly curved and sculpted armrests give it a modern, almost architectural silhouette – ideal at the end of the table. All structures are made of solid teak, whose warm hue and expressive grain highlight the quality of the design, with finely shaped transitions and balanced proportions. All chairs have been reupholstered by a professional and uniformly covered with high-quality fabric from Sahco / Kvadrat in a zebra pattern – Kvadrat is one of the most renowned Scandinavian textile manufacturers. The structures have been renovated, freshly oiled, and all joints checked. The chairs are stable, comfortable, and ready for use. With their beautiful rear view, they are also suitable for a table placed in the middle of the room. Condition: very good vintage condition – professionally restored, new upholstery and fabric, with only minimal signs of use due to age. Chair dimensions (model 80): approximately 50 × 51 × 77 × 44 cm; armchairs (model 65): approximately 58 × 56 × 76 × 44 cm, armrest height at the front approximately 66 cm (L × D × H × seat height).
