Yngve Ekström "Thea" oak serving trolley

"Thea" serving trolley designed by Yngve Ekström, 1960s, in oak and teak, with black laminate centre panel and drop leaves. "Thea" serving trolley designed by Yngve Ekström, a key figure of Swedish modernism and co-founder of Swedese. This 1960s version combines a solid oak frame with teak surfaces: the black laminate centre of the top is flanked by two drop leaves with cut-out handles, which fold down to reduce the footprint. Tapered legs with exposed brass screws, a teak lower shelf and metal swivel castors. Marked "Made in Denmark" beneath the lower shelf. Good condition. It may show signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AF050.
