Dish by Robert and Jean Cloutier, circa 1960

Very large oval dish by Robert and Jean Cloutier, the twin brothers of French ceramics with a rich and dreamlike universe, often tinged with humor. In red earth with enamel slip in blue tones very typical of their work in the 60s, it is decorated with a fish and bird decoration. Cloutier's incised signature under the base. Very good condition, direct from the artists' studio.
