Vintage enamelled ceramic jug - Strelha GDR

Ceramic jug from the Strehla factory, produced in the former GDR (East Germany) during the 1960s-70s. Model number 9026 with the embossed mark "Strehla" and "GDR" noted under the base. Superb gradient from a delicate powder pink to a bright off-white. Its graphic decoration, composed of textured mineral grey vertical lines, presents a grainy relief to the touch, similar to Lava glaze, offering a stunning tactile contrast with the fine smooth pink and white glaze. Very good condition. No restoration. The colour and glaze have retained their original brilliance. Height 20 cm. Base diameter 9.5 cm. Neck diameter 7 cm.
