Early Edition Dutch Design 3-Seater Sofa / Daybed Model Lotus by Rob Parry

The Gelderland 3-seater sofa by Rob Parry can be transformed into a daybed in a single movement; this conversion is achieved by pulling the seat forward. Pushing the seat back converts the daybed back into a sofa. The sofa features a square, anthracite-grey frame. The metal frame has not been restored and shows only very slight signs of use; however, we have treated the two solid armrests to restore their natural appearance. The armrests are made of solid Afromosia wood and are 4 cm thick. The armrests are mounted to the seat. We have fitted the sofa with Nosag springs (zigzag springs), which have been tensioned to ensure optimal seating comfort. We also fitted the seat and backrest with new foam and reupholstered the sofa in a finely woven ocean-blue fabric.
