Writing desk designed by pierre guariche for meurop of belgium in the 1960s. This desk is completely veneered in teak and had a black lacquered steel frame. The slightly rounded off drawer handles indicate an earlier build and are made of solid aluminum. The desk is in good condition. It has had some repairs to the veneer, most notable on the left side of the top drawer. The edges of the top had some small damages that were filled and coloured to match. There is a small damage on the back side of the top that is slightly visible. Please see the photos for this. The desk has been restored to its minimal, straight lined appearance.
