Superb pair of Médicis vases in porcelain biscuit, Borghese decoration. French production from the early 19th century, Empire / Restoration (circa 1805-1830). Unglazed white biscuit of fine quality with a smooth grain. Relief decoration featuring draped antique figures (mythological scene). Bearded male masks as side handles: well-crafted and detailed. Beaded brass neck and square base in gilded brass with scrollwork decoration. Generally in good condition, with a small chip under one of the numbered bases (hardly visible). Harmonious proportions, clean and consistent work, a true favourite. Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 18 cm
