This pair of Art Deco armchairs was designed and produced in the Netherlands in the 1920s. We have completely reupholstered them with a high-quality checked fabric 'Lotura' by Design of the Times. With its checkerboard pattern, Lotura appears playful and luxurious, providing a perfect contrast to the rigid design of these octagonal boudoir chairs. This linen blend is the result of a handcrafted process combining yarn dyeing and piece dyeing, finished with a stonewash for a soft feel and a deeply nuanced appearance. The structures have also been internally checked for stability, then the beech wood was re-stained to match their original dark walnut colour, and revarnished in two layers. These armchairs are now in very good condition, reupholstered. We also have a matching 2-seater sofa available. We can offer the complete set at a discounted price.
