Two Elegant Josef Hoffmann Chairs made by Manufactor Jacob & Josef Kohn. Early 20th-Century Armchairs in Great Gatsby Style. Crafted around 1910 Jugendstil, these armchairs remain structurally solid with no significant visible repairs. The sprung seats offer exceptional comfort, while the gently curved backrests embrace the body, and the armrests provide perfect support. A truly stylish design: understated in presence, yet rich in detail and executed with the highest craftsmanship. We have carefully cleaned the wood and treated it with a light clear oil to preserve its beautiful patina. Variation of Josef Hoffmanns ‘720 Half-Barrel Settee.
