Pair of Art Deco gondola armchairs, France circa 1920

Magnificent pair of Art Deco armchairs from around 1920. Model known as "Gondole" with flared, fluted uprights. Made of waxed beech wood, they have been completely refurbished by an upholsterer specifically for sale and covered in a high-quality textured velvet fabric in light grey and natural ecru tones to give them a modern touch in line with current trends. In keeping with this spirit, a double piping has been used for the finish, less classic than the eternal gold studs. Height of the backrest is 78 cm, seat height is 33 cm, width and depth are 65 cm. Obviously in perfect condition, this very beautiful pair of armchairs will easily find its place in a living room, a bedroom, or a large dressing room, regardless of your decor. Not to be missed!!!
