Old Rouen plate - cornucopia - mid 18th century. Old Rouen plate - floral motifs, horn of abandance, birds - mid 18th century. Plate made of very red glazed terracotta. Scalloped edges. Marks of the cooking support above and above the plate, which reveal the color of the earth. Thick and heavy plate, not flat. Signed 'p' under the base. All these elements confirm the period of the plate, also appraised by a Parisian auction house. Very good general condition, no chips. Some coloring on the sides. Just a slight crack imperceptible to the touch, and which would be more of a hair from cooking, see last photo. Rare piece for collectors. Dimensions: Diameter: 26cm. Height: 2.5cm.
