Elegant 37-piece silver-plated cutlery set in Art Deco style, made by the French silversmith André Blanchet. This set features a sober and architectural design, with a "triple line" decoration ending in a geometric step pattern at the base of the handle, emblematic of the 1930s. The set includes: • 12 Table forks (Weight hallmark: 84g) • 12 Table spoons (Weight hallmark: 84g) • 12 Coffee/dessert spoons (Weight hallmark: 18g) • 1 Large ladle (Weight hallmark: 10g) Technical details: • Silversmith: André Blanchet (Swallow hallmark). • Material: High-quality silver plate. • Style: Pure Art Deco. • Era: First half of the 20th century (France). Condition: The set is in good used condition. There are minimal signs of wear related to time, retaining a very nice shine. • Specific note: The ladle has a slight chip at the location of the silversmith's hallmark. The pieces have been cleaned with Miror but may require a second cleaning for a better appearance. • Case: Delivered in its original box. The box is in fair ("vintage") condition with some signs of wear on the exterior covering. One of the closing fasteners is partially detached (missing a fixing nail), but remains functional after a small restoration.
