Vintage Ercuis cutlery set of 37 pieces, Chinon model.

Antique 37-piece silver-plated cutlery set from the French silversmith Ercuis. This is the net pattern or Chinon model. The set is complete and dates from the early 20th century, around 1940. The box includes: 12 table forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 teaspoons, and 1 ladle. All pieces are shiny and in good condition regarding their silver plating. They bear the Ercuis silversmith's mark (centaur hallmark) and various weight hallmarks depending on the pieces. The forks and large spoons are made of 84-gram silver-plated metal, the ladle is 10 grams, and the teaspoons are 18 grams. Visible signs of age include micro-scratches and usual signs of use, reflecting their history without diminishing their shine. The box shows signs of wear.
