Alfénide art deco 24-piece silver-plated metal cutlery set, 84g hallmark

Very antique 24-piece silver-plated Alfenide cutlery set in its original brown leather-look case with gold trim, cream interior (dimensions: length 26.5 cm x width 23 cm x height 5.5 cm). Several hallmarks: The Alfenide silvering hallmark of the widow of Charles Halphen, a silversmith registered on March 17, 1877, features a goat's head within a diamond. The factory was bought in 1880 by Christofle and named Orfèvrerie Gallia. In 1935, the initials of the Christofle silversmith changed to "oc" with a chess knight within a square hallmark. Silvering hallmark: 84 grams. Total weight of the cutlery: 2.028 kg. 12 large forks, length 20.5 cm. 12 large spoons, length 21 cm.
