Mid Century Cocoon Lamp, Vintage Interior, 60's

Mid century cocoon lamp, lampshade, hanging lamp, pendant white, 60's. Large cocoon lamp from the 50s/60s. The shade consists of a metal frame on which the cocoon fabric is stretched. Cocoon impresses with its special material properties. The surface has a special texture and gets a special look through the fibre-like structure. In addition, cocoon impresses with its transparent properties: as the diffuser material of a luminaire, it provides soft, widely diffused light. As there are different electrical conditions in each country, I would recommend having the lamp connected by an electrician. Dimensions: diameter: 49 cm|19.29 inch. Height: 37 cm|14.56 inch. Lamp cable: 95 cm|37.40 inch. Weight: 900 gr. Great mid century lamp. Good vintage condition with traces of use. Small stains on the top, but not visible when the lamp is hanging. The shade is completely intact and has no tears or holes in the fabric. The power cable has been replaced and is as good as new. Although it does not fit exactly in the holder, the lamp hangs straight. The original cable was very short and discoloured.
