This minimalistic Scandinavian wall unit in teak comes from Norway from the 1960s. It is a completely modular shelving system – “Ergo”, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk. It features a practical sliding door cabinet, 21 cm depth shelf and the compact desk-shelf, suitable for a laptop or reading. It creates a nice, discreet working space. It is a great space saving alternative for traditional desks. It features 130 cm rails that provide various possibilities of arrangement. The large desk-shelf can also be placed lower and thus one can expose large items like vases, sculptures, etc. Slightly curved cabinet makes a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. This piece is perfect for home office, bedroom, or living room. This shelving system includes: A sliding door cabinet H.: 43 / W.: 78.5 / D.: 22 cm. Shelf 21 cm depth. Desk-shelf 42 cm depth. 2 teak supports 130 cm high. Brass hangers. The wall unit has been checked by our team. The door works properly and smoothly. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with layers of Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain. Overall, it is in original vintage condition, with minor signs of use.
