Writing desk in mahogany, Italy, 19th century

Central piece finished on all four sides. Made of oak, it is entirely veneered in flame mahogany and decorated with mouldings and pilasters in carved mahogany. Composed of two doors topped with a drawer beneath the top with an internal writing desk. On the sliding surface, there is a tier with a retractable door concealing interior drawers veneered in maple; wooden railing on the raised surface.
