German studio ceramic bowl by Monika Maetzel, designed in the 1960s. Monika Maetzel, born in Hamburg in 1917, studied at Hamburg State Art School and Munich Academy of Fine Arts. She founded her own ceramics workshop in 1947, specialising in vessel ceramics, sculptures, and wall ceramics. This vintage piece is in very good condition with patina consistent with age and use, and no notable defects. Identifying marks attribute this piece to Monika Maetzel. Dimensions: height 4 cm, diameter 7 cm.
