Superb hand-crafted glazed stoneware jug, signed underneath, probably from the ceramic tradition of La Borne or Puisaye. A very beautiful workshop piece with simple, organic lines, featuring remarkable work in nuanced glazes of deep brown, khaki, midnight blue, and ivory. The silhouette is particularly elegant with: * a generous sculptural handle, * a delicately pinched spout, * and a very beautiful decorative presence. The stoneware exhibits stunning material and firing effects reminiscent of French workshop ceramics from the 70s to 90s, in a contemporary wabi-sabi and rustic spirit. Piece signed and engraved “handmade” underneath with the ceramist's name (to be identified) in relief. Ideal as a decorative object, vase, utensil pot, or for a collection of author ceramics. Condition. Very good overall condition. Small chip underneath not visible. Dimensions. * Height: 19 cm. * Width with handle: 19 cm. * Diameter: 14 cm. * Diameter of the neck: 10 cm. Weight. 822 g.
