Antique square ashtray in silver-plated metal (silver-plated or similar alloy, not solid silver) adorned in the centre with a finely embossed scene of an interior tavern: characters drinking and gathered around a table, with barrels, a jug, and a broom. Border with scrolls and relief floral patterns, with birds integrated into the corners. Four inclined cigarette rests at the corners. Richly decorative continental style, likely of Dutch or German influence given the tavern scene. Condition: No manufacturer's mark is visible in the photos. The surface shows normal oxidation in the recessed details, typical of antique silverware, and can be polished if necessary.
