Architect's or articulated desk lamp by Mathias, France circa 1970.

Very nice desk lamp, more specifically an architect's lamp, from around 1970. Model made in France by Mathias (label in the reflector, see photo) and consisting of 2 double arms in light grey lacquered metal supporting a diffuser in light grey lacquered aluminium on its outer face and brushed silver aluminium on its inner face. The articulated lamp is fixed to the desk surface by a black lacquered metal screw clamp and can be oriented in all planes of space (see photos). The arms have a maximum extension of 90 cm, allowing the lamp to be installed on large work surfaces. The diffuser itself has a diameter of 18.5 cm and a height of 16 cm. Finally, the cord with switch measures 2 m. Sold with its bulb and in its original box, the lamp is in perfect condition, with just a few micro chips on the articulated arms that do not affect its aesthetics. All that's left is to get to work!!!.
