Mid-Century Swedish desk lamp by Ledu, 1960s

Vintage design. Architect's lamp from the Swedish manufacturer Ledu in a special colour. The Ledu is largely very similar or identical to the classic Luxo L-1, the design classic by Jac Jacobsen from 1937. The difference is seen in the slightly ornamental curves of the lampshade. The design is incredibly functional and very mobile. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. Light wear consistent with age and use. Patina consistent with age and use. A professional electrician has confirmed that this piece is functional.
