I am selling a beautiful pair of antique vases from the Art Nouveau period (circa 1900). These pieces feature the typical characteristics of the famous Austrian manufacturer Robert Hanke (Bohemia), renowned for its Blush Ivory style ceramics. Decor: Very fine floral decoration printed and enhanced by hand, depicting bouquets of wild violets framing a landscape medallion. Ivory background with stunning green and yellow gradients applied with an airbrush. Shape: Model crafted with a scalloped neck in the shape of a corolla and superb handles adorned with original gilding. The relief patterns at the base form a stylised heart typical of the period. Marking: Each vase bears the official mould number 2542 engraved in relief under the base. Dimensions: Height: 29.5 cm. Very good overall condition for their age (over 120 years). The glaze remains bright and the colours fresh. No major cracks, pieces are sound (see photos of the bases and necks). Please feel free to contact me for more information or photos.
