Very beautiful fine earthenware soup plates with blue monochrome decoration motif of an old castle by the river 1950s stamped: royal sphinx cambridge old england made in holland in very good condition (see photos). The royal sphinx factory was created by petrus regout in 1834 in maastricht, holland we also have, in the same collection: 6 dessert plates, 6 flat plates, 1 semi-deep round dish, 1 serving dish, 1 semi-deep rectangular dish as well as the salad bowl in other ads in our shop.
