Vintage Liberty's of London Ianthe Canapé Worn Condition

We are delighted to offer for sale this vintage 2-3 seater upholstered sofa from Liberty's of London, Ianthe, in used condition. This well-made and comfortable sofa is crafted from one of the most famous upholstery fabrics from Liberty's of London, Ianthe. The condition is as shown in the photos; the fabric is usable and has been professionally cleaned. There is wear on the front edge of the platform as it is suspended by springs, providing better comfort for the legs than traditional wooden feet. The lower right front edge shows significant wear, and there are other softer signs of wear on the corners that are not really visible. A new sofa of this kind would cost over £5000 today, making this one available at a fraction of the retail price. Dimensions: height 83 cm for the frame only, 91 cm at the top of the back cushions, width 194 cm, depth 84 cm, seat height 47 cm. These measurements are taken at the widest point. Vintage items such as leather seating will always have a natural patina with occasional cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to apply wax regularly to preserve moisture.
