This sculptural piece in the shape of a five-pointed star (24 cm in diameter, 1.765 kg) is distinguished by the depth of its central cobalt/sapphire blue and a remarkable finish: a fine rim of opaline white glass applied hot, highlighting the undulation of the edge. Made of Sommerso crystal, the colour radiates outwards from the base under a thick matrix of clear crystal.
