A rare and beautiful matching pair of Swedish Mid-Century floor lamps — Model 163 by Eskilstuna Elektrofabriks Aktiebolag, from the late 1950s. Three elongated ebonised wooden spindles connected by polished brass collars, rising from a gloss black base with brass trim ring. The uppermost section transitions into a slender brass rod terminating in an E27 fitting. Without shades, the pair has a striking sculptural quality — like a pair of tall, elegant figures standing side by side. With shades the look is complete.
