Antique pitcher Reinhold Merkelbach Grenzhausen – Cobalt blue stoneware – Decorated with ra

Vintage cobalt blue stoneware jug – Reinhold Merkelbach, Grenzhausen. Very beautiful antique German stoneware jug, attributed to Reinhold Merkelbach of Grenzhausen, recognisable by its superb relief decoration of grapes and foliage. Its deep cobalt blue, grey/white reliefs, and generously rounded shape give it a strong presence. A particularly decorative piece, perfect for an old kitchen, a country house, vintage decor, or a collector's interior. The underside features an incised inscription. Vintage condition: signs of use and small defects visible in the photographs, particularly on the decoration. These marks are part of the history and the antique character of the piece.
