Authentic and splendid pitcher (jug or water pot) from the vintage era (circa 1970s) made of glazed stoneware from the famous French manufacturer François Rhoda (Rhodaceram), historically established in Saint-Uze in the Drôme. This provincial style model, bearing the official shape number 225 and the mention 100 (indicating its capacity of one liter) engraved on the bottom, is distinguished by its flamed glazing with beautiful shades of cobalt blue and ochre beige on a cream background, typical of the highly sought-after range known as "cloud stoneware." The body is richly adorned on both sides with a superb high-relief decoration (in the style of slipware) representing generous bunches of grapes accompanied by textured vine leaves. Characteristics of the piece: Manufacturer: François Rhoda / Rhodaceram (Saint-Uze, Drôme, France). Authenticity model: Stamped in relief under the heel Rhoda 225 / 100. Material: High-quality heavy glazed and varnished stoneware. Capacity: 1 liter. Condition: Excellent original vintage condition. The flamed glaze has retained all its brilliance and the shine of its clouded drips. The body, robust handle, and spout show no chips, cracks, or nicks, reflecting perfect care over the decades. A piece of popular art ceramics with character, ideal for enhancing a rustic chic summer table, repurposed as a large vase for dried flower arrangements, or to enrich a collection of antique stoneware from the Drôme.
