This magnificent jug/carafe in English majolica dates from the 1940s and was created by the famous English manufacturer Wedgwood. There is a stamp on the bottom: Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, Made in England. The entire jug is decorated with reliefs depicting bunches of grapes and vine leaves. It is a deep green with lighter and darker shades. It is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks.
