Magnificent and large central bowl (30 cm) in handcrafted ceramic made by Swiss artist Claire Landolt. This terracotta piece is a superb example of Swiss craftsmanship from the late 20th century. Claire Landolt's work is distinguished by its narrative quality and hand-incised decorations inspired by folklore. This model features a beautiful central "Sun" motif created using the sgraffito technique, surrounded by a poetic and naive frieze of birds and fish. Enhanced by a glossy amber/honey glaze, this heavy and robust salad bowl has a primitive charm and a superb organic texture. A characterful piece ideal as a large fruit bowl or simply displayed as a centrepiece in a Japandi, modern rustic, or chic bohemian interior.
