Moroccan handmade turquoise earthenware plate – Safi

Superb Moroccan handcrafted plate in glazed earthenware, hand-decorated in the Safi workshops, a mecca of traditional ceramics. Its deep turquoise glaze, enhanced with geometric patterns painted in black, yellow, and brown, gives it a vibrant and sunny character. The scalloped edge adds an elegant touch of movement and refinement and is accented by a small pedestal. A charming piece with authentic charm, ideal as a wall decoration (thanks to the hole provided for hanging) or as a presentation plate on a summer table. Signed. Beautiful vintage condition, with a beautiful glaze crackle typical of old Safi ceramics and two glaze defects on the bottom (see photos). Diameter 27 cm, height 5 cm.
