4 dessert plates Sarreguemines and Digoin Scottish

Beautiful set of 4 dessert plates from Sarreguemines and Digoin, featuring green tartan and gold trim. This is a wonderful set of 4 plates dating from the 1940s, showcasing the stunning Scottish pattern from Digoin Sarreguemines. The Scottish design is in tartan just around the plate and is very unusual. The plates are quite rare for their time, and the colours and style are more modern than they appear. Perfect for serving meals or simply as a wonderful display piece. The green and gold give a very festive feel to these plates, and they would be just as lovely for serving summer meals in the garden! In very good condition, with 2 having manufacturing defects (see photos). We also have 4 deep plates and 2 serving dishes from the same collection in another listing in our shop.
