4 deep plates Sarreguemines and Digoin Scottish

Beautiful set of 4 deep plates from Sarreguemines and Digoin in Scottish tartan green with gold trim. This is a wonderful set of 4 plates dating from the 1940s featuring the stunning Scottish pattern from Digoin Sarreguemines. The Scottish design is in tartan just around the plate and is very unusual. The plates are very rare for their time, and the colours and style are more modern than they appear. Perfect for serving meals or simply as a wonderful display piece. The green and gold give a very festive feel to these plates, and they would be just as lovely for serving summer meals in the garden! In very good condition, with just 2 small chips on the edge of one plate (see photos) - in its original found condition, straight from the attic (see photos).
