2 beautiful serving dishes from Sarreguemines and Digoin in green tartan with gold trim. This is a wonderful set of 2 serving dishes dating from the 1940s in the stunning Scottish pattern of Digoin Sarreguemines. The Scottish design features tartan just around the dish and is very unusual. The serving dishes are quite rare for their time, and the colours and style are more modern than they appear. Perfect for serving meals or simply as a wonderful display piece. The green and gold give a very festive feel to these dishes, and they would be just as lovely for serving summer meals in the garden! In very good condition, with normal signs of wear and some loss of gilding in certain areas (see photos).
